I plan to conduct comparisons using the heritage MODIS active fire product. Therefore, I will be incorporating my code into this project that is related to the said product.

Note: The thumbnail image used for this project shows wildfires in Southern California captured by NASA's MODIS satellite on October 22, 2007. The red dots on the image represent locations with intense heat or fire.
